Two-day Soft Lampshade-Making Workshop

This is a lampshade-making workshop for beginners. Basic sewing skills are required as we will be working with sewing machines as well as using hand-stitching techniques.

This workshop is all about learning in a fun, supportive atmosphere where everyone gets to walk away with their own handmade lampshade.

Please note, we will be making traditional soft lampshades, not the stiff, modern drum-style.

All materials will be supplied, including a variety of small frames (perfect for bedside table lamps), as well as a selection of fabrics and trims to choose from.

Workshop schedule: 09:30 – 16:30 both days, with a 30-minute lunch break.

Spaces available: Only small groups of 6 or 8, so it's nice and cosy!*

Workshop fee: £150

*6 spaces at Victoria Works Studios and 8 spaces at Prema Arts Centre
